Isabella Velstande, lying in her soft bed, shuddered and answered. “Yes, pa.”
Her father, voluminous merchant Antonio Velstande, opened the door and peeked inside.
“I’ve brought you a gift, my dear.” He smiled at this daughter. “She’s here just for you and she’s renowned for her finest hands and techniques.”
Isabella only nodded inviting the person in. Mr. Velstande withdrew and a very pretty elven woman entered the room bowing to the lady.

“YEEEEEOWWWWWYOOOOW-WHOO-WHOO-WHOOOO-OWWWW!!!!” A shriek of pure pain came out of Night Owl’s lips as her bare right toes were smashed hard by a wooden mallet.
Isabelle was watching the spectacle frozen in terror. It seemed that Night Owl had been in control of the situation. She had been moving with such unbelievable agility and even in the dim light Isabelle was able to see how deadly she had been engaging in the combat. But then everything had turned just wrong.
